Employee Relations focuses on effectively managing the relationship between the company and its employees using company directives. Employee relations managers may negotiate employee agreements, handle complaints, resolve disputes, advise management, and collect information for management to use during negotiations with unions.

In this sub-profession, you will gain an in-depth understanding of the Employee Relation policies as well as the complete process of wage management. You will learn to conduct employee satisfaction surveys, analyze results and implement corrective measures. You will learn the principles of wage and salary administration and be acquainted with the legal and statutory compliance.

Employee Relations Managers are important for developing, implementing, administering and analyzing the employer-employee relationship and ensuring that relations with employees comply with applicable laws and regulations; and resolving workplace disputes.
